M3-S technology inside the ITALGAS pilot project for telemetering

Remote management and remote reading of gas meters: ItalGas, an ENI company, has also chosen our technology to be employed in its test which has the flavour of a challenge "technique" where the ultimate goal is the automatic detection of real gas consumption.

ItalGas, like other Utilities, has the intention to eliminate the disservice to its customers, which often originates in the accounting management based on estimated consumption instead of the perfect correspondence between real and read consumption. The experiment was initiated in 2009 and will continue in 2010 involving more than 5,000 families living in the towns of Albano Laziale (Rome), Asti, Cerro Maggiore (Milan), Enna, Monopoli (Bari) and Teor (Udine).
