Romanian telemetering systems run Italian communication technology

in just 3 months A.P.Systems won tenders for over € 1.4 millions

In the last few months in Romania an in important purchasing phase of telemetering technology has taken place by local energy distributors like Enel Muntenia, Enel Dobrogea ed Enel Banat.    A.P.Systems tendered successfully for a contract of over € 1.4 millions (approximately 5,880,000 ron) where thousands of DM530 modems have to be supplied by 2012.

The DM530 will be installed in the cabins to connect the individual meters to an ICT control room; the interaction via PC of the meter will provide the Billing/CRM Enel system with sharp data about energy consumption and check the level of consumed power in relation to the service contract. End customers will have an increate quality  service since its meter is monitored (even for faulty situation) and its invoices are based on the actual consumption and not on assumptions that have always created problems of understanding, and consenquently reduced customer satisfaction.

"Another success given by the reliability and robustness of our products. In Italy they are used in AMR/AMM systems in more than 500,000 units all working," says Dr. Renzo Basset CEO of APSystems "Our goal is to maintain the highest levels of performance and quality standards of our products and to date this has enabled us to achieve a leading position not only in the domestic market but also internationally; to have obtained these orders besides a reason for pride we think it is an objective confirmation of our role in the smart metering market.
